Rooms with ocean views

These condos at Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort contain a king-size bed in the bedroom, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and one Murphy bed in the living room. Each unit includes a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, coffee maker, and counter-top range. Cable TV with HBO, a DVD player, a room safe, and a hair dryer are provided. Some units offer views of the Atlantic Ocean or the Intracoastal Waterway.

Dining and nightlife nearby

The Village at Gulfstream Park, a short distance away, features fashion boutiques, home accessory shops, signature restaurants, outdoor cafes, and nightclubs. Nearby, the Mai Kai offers Polynesian dishes and drinks in a setting with tiki torches, tropical gardens, and waterfalls. Restaurants and Institutions has recognized it as one of America's Top 100 Independent Restaurants.

Activities and entertainment

Guests can explore Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, rent a canoe, hike nature trails, or bike along the paths. The Seminole Paradise casino, featuring slots and poker, is nearby. Jungle Island, home to over 3,000 exotic animals, offers bird aviaries and jungle trails. The Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science includes interactive exhibits and an IMAX theater.

Prime beachfront location

The resort is across the street from Fort Lauderdale Beach, with lifeguards and water activities. The Water Taxi, stopping nearby, provides access to destinations along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Galleria shopping mall and Riverwalk, a hub for arts and nightlife, are within walking distance. Miami Metrozoo and championship golf courses are a short drive away.

“There's a certain charm to be found here, especially given its beachfront setting. I was particularly struck by the condos, which include fully stocked kitchenettes-a real plus for families or longer stays. The outdoor spaces also felt quite inviting, encouraging relaxation and socializing.”
